Venerable Kelsang Chödor

Venerable Kelsang Chödor is an ordained Buddhist Monk and Resident Teacher of Atisha Buddhist Centre. Chödor has practised and taught meditation for over eleven years, including three years on the Teacher Training Programme at Tara Buddhist Centre in Derbyshire. In July 2004 Chödor was requested by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso to become Resident Teacher at Atisha Buddhist Centre. Chödor teaches Foundation Programme classes and General Programme classes at Atisha Centre, Tuesday and Saltburn, Wednesday. He is able to present the teachings in a practical and accessible way and is known for his warmth, clarity and humour.
He also shows a good example of how a modern day practitioner can practise an authentic spiritual path.
