The 100 CLUB
A New Way Of Supporting Atisha Centre
The 100 Club is a novel way of helping the Centre to flourish by giving money on a monthly basis. The Club is limited to 100 people and the minimum monthly donation is £5. Payments are made by standing order.
Atisha Centre does not rely on any central funds or resources to support its activities. Although the centre receives income from rents and course fees this is never enough to cover our outgoings.
Every year we rely on individual donations from kind benefactors. Every penny is spent wisely and as a registered charity (No. 1013466) we can reclaim the tax on your donation if you are in employment.
Your money is needed to maintain and improve the facilities at the Centre and it will also enable us to run and promote meditation classes throughout the region bringing Dharma to those who desperately need it.
What are the benefits of joining?
By supporting the Centre on a regular basis you will help us promote the teachings of Buddha throughout the North East. Every week we go out to towns and cities explaining methods for releasing people like yourself from daily problems and for finding inner peace and contentment. Your generosity will also help us improve the facilities at the Centre so that we can continue to hold events and study programmes as well as support a full-time resident teacher. In addition every 3 months you will be entered into a free prize draw. Prizes will include books, gifts and free day courses. You will receive a membership card which entitles you to a free newsletter every month keeping you up to date with events and activities.
How do I become a member?
If you would like to become a member you can subscribe by making monthly payments of over £5 using a standing order arrangement. Simply print off the form from the link below and return it to the Centre by popping it in the post or returning it to your class assistant. We will do the rest.
